Hi There,
My site:http://userproplugin.com
We have been having lots of issues implementing userpro with our buddypress based site.
First we where bombarded by spam, and any try to user userpro to stop it was un-successful.When looking in the activity, the gravatar do not show: http://grouphaggle.com/activity/
also, some profile images show, and some dont, here are 2 examples:
grouphaggle.com/members/eden/ (not working)
grouphaggle.com/members/eco/ (working)I will post another message with login details and purchasing code
So all avatars do not show or only specific avatars do not show?
Ok dome do ahow and some do not. Have a look at the links I provided. Thank you for the help.
EcoSome do not; please show me a sample profile that does not so I can see where the image is pointing.
Ahalan Mohamed,
OK here you can see an issue: grouphaggle.com/members/eden/
If I uploaded an image (like here: grouphaggle.com/members/eco/ ) then the image show, but the default image does not show.
Any idea?Thank you,
EcoThe default image is broken on the page you sent to me and it link to:
http://gravatar.com/avatar/1aedb8d9dc4751e229a335e371db8058?d=gravatar_default&s=580&r=G
It seems to ignore userpro default image see? It is def not a userpro issue then
Hey Ahmed,
I see what you mean, and it is true that the system ignores userpro, BUT its a buddypress account(standard thing with buddypress). and the default image of userpro should show there.
As you claim that userpro take over the buddypress accounts, this is sort of a bug, because you forget to get your plugin to take uver there.
Or more currect to say, your plugin is interucting correct with the member profile IF the member uploaded their own image, but if they dud not upload and they leave the default, then the buddypress member card does not show the userpro avatar.Does this make sense? Do you agree?
It looks like you use a custom buddypress template that ignores the hook that userpro uses to override buddypress avatar.
So the plugin display wrong avatar if he does not upload a custom profile photo only?
Hello,
I am having a similar issue.
Any avatar that is uploaded during the userpro registration process does not show in the buddypress user profile. It is as though UserPro doesnt add the URL of the avatar to the location in the database where BuddyPress references it. So Buddypress shows a default avatar, or none.
Example: http://ccsc.ypaty.com/memberlisttest/
The site is loaded with buddypress demo data.
The Users created by UserPro: Diana Cook, Chelsea, NewTestUser
All entries showing avatars are created outside the UserPro registration processCan you assist please?
